Ahli star Mohamed Abou-Treika wants to impress new Egypt manager Bob Bradley after being left out of the previous friendly against Brazil. The talismanic midfielder was uncommonly dropped as Egypt lost 2-0 to the South American giants, despite impressing in Ahli's last league game against ENPPI with a goal and an assist. “I want to prove myself for Bradley so that I can earn my Egypt recall, rather than rely on calls from the fans to put me in,” Treika told Melody Sport TV. “When fans put pressure on Bradley to recall me, it adds more responsibility on me and drives me to work harder in order to return.” Abou-Treika, 33, has been instrumental in Egypt's back-to-back Nations Cup triumphs in 2006 and 2008, but missed the 2010 victory due to injury.
