Wadi Degla's Belgian manager Walter Meeuws has been taken to hospital after suffering an injury following a horrific accident to the team's bus. The Degla squad were on their way back from Ismailia – where they played a friendly with Ismaili – when their bus crashed on the highway. No injuries to players have been reported yet, but it has been confirmed that Meeuws broke his arm during the accident. Other reports also claimed that the 60-year-old coach suffered an internal bleeding after losing consciousness. Degla, who lost the friendly match 2-1 in Ismailia, will open their Egyptian Premier League season against Zamalek on the 15th of October.
