Arab Contractors produced a huge upset by ousting Ismaili from the Egyptian Cup quarter-finals, beating the two-time champions 3-1 in Cairo. Hossam Hassan's side were totally outclassed at Green Mountain, courtesy of a brace by Nigerian striker Musa Kabiru and a splendid freekick from Alaa Kamal. Egypt midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou netted the Dervishes' only goal from the spot. Contractors, who finished bottom of the Egyptian Premier League last season, advance to the semi-finals to meet ENPPI, who beat Police Union 6-5 on penalties. It will be a repeat of the 2008 cup semi-final as, ironically, Zamalek and Harras Hodoud clash in the other game just like they did three years ago. The match witnessed clashes between both clubs' fans, which forced referee Mahmoud Ashour to delay the restart of the second half for around 10 minutes.
