Ahmed Elmohamady's Sunderland have emphatically registered their first win this season, beating Stoke 4-0 in the English Premier League on Sunday. Elmohamady played the whole game for the Black Cats, who inflicted Stoke's first defeat of the season at the Stadium of Light. The Egypt full-back had a fine game on the right of midfield, with the fit-again John O'Shea replacing the suspended Phil Bardsley behind him. Titus Bramble, Craig Gardner, Sebastian Larsson and an own-goal from Jonathan Woodgate gave Sunderland the big win, which massively lifted them from 19th to 12th place. Steve Bruce's team will visit newly-promoted Norwich City at the weekend.
