The Brazilian Football Confederation announced that the Selecao will play a friendly match against Egypt in September, while the Egyptian FA has yet to make an announcement. The CBF published Brazil's friendly-match agenda for the rest of the year 2011 on its official website, starting with the Egypt game in Cairo on September 6. Surprisingly, the Egyptian FA has yet make an announcement even though chairman Samir Zaher implied on television a couple of days ago that meeting Brazil is a possibility. The FA has been encountering managerial difficulties of late as it is still struggling to find a manager for the Egypt first team, more than two months after the departure of Hassan Shehata. Apart from the Egypt job, Zaher's board has been far from settled in recent months, with numerous clubs calling for its sack by the Supreme Council of Sport. Brazil's last meeting with Egypt took place in the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup when the South American titans edged a seven-goal in South Africa.
