All members of the Egypt team are set to fast when they clash with Argentina in the U-20 World Cup round of 16 on Tuesday. The young Pharaohs will tackle the six-time champions one-and-a-half hour before sunset in Medellin, Colombia on the ninth day of the holy month of Ramadan. “They all refused the idea of breaking their fast and of course we cannot force them to do it, they are free on that matter,” Egypt coach Diaa Al-Sayed told reporters. “Anyway my team have become used to playing during daylight in Ramadan and I think things have been going well while they're fasting. “The lads are very ambitious and are determined to overcome Argentina and go through to the last eight.” Al-Sayed's men played one time through fasting so far in Colombia when they edged Panama 1-0 in the second group game. Egypt faced Argentina three times in the 2001, 2003 and 2005 finals, with the South American giants winning on all occasions.
