The future of Ahmed Hassan and Sayed Moawad is put through more uncertainty after the Egypt duo was both left out of Ahli's squad for Thursday's league game with Arab Contractors. Ahli boss Manuel Jose's decision to omit left-back Moawad was expected after the latter's recent disciplinary problem which cost him a heavy fine after walking out of the team's match with Smouha. Egypt captain Hassan, on the other hand, confirmed he is in talks with Zamalek over a summer transfer, amid Ahli's hesitation to offer him a new contract. There was no place for midfielder Mohamed Shawky as well, even though he fully recovered from a knee injury sustained last month. Youngster Ayman Ashraf and midfielder Abdul-Hamid Shabana were recalled to replace Moawad and Hassan. A win for Ahli against the relegated Contractors would seal a seventh straight league title for the Cairo club.
