Ahli will decide on the future of Sayed Moawad at the end of the season in the wake of the Egypt full-back's recent disciplinary problem. Moawad was heavily fined by the Cairo club after protesting furiously against being substituted in the previous draw with Smouha, before leaving the team's bench without permission. When asked about the defender's future with the club, football director Sayed Abdul-Hafiz implied that Ahli will still have to consider Moawad's position. “He has been punished, but he is still an Ahli player, till now,” Abdul-Hafiz told FilGoal.com. “We will make a final decision regarding Moawad's future when the season is over.” Moawad, who joined Ahli on a free transfer from Trabzonspor in 2008, runs out of contract by the end of next season.
