Ahli's search for an overseas striker continues as Nigerian Patrick Ogunsoto begins a trial with the Egyptian champions this week. The 27-year-old trained with the team on Tuesday and will be monitored by new coach Manuel Jose in a friendly match with Shams on Friday. Ogunsoto, currently a free agent, had spells with APOEL of Cyprus, Belgium's Westerlo and Ergotelis from Greece. He had a brief stint at OFI Crete last year and is looking for a new club in the meantime. Ahli handed a trial to striker Muhamadu Ibad last month, but the Ghanaian-Dutch striker failed to impress then-manager Abdul-Aziz Abdul-Shafi ‘Zizo'. The Red Devils are also believed to be tracking Nigerian Bentley, who plays for Norway's Odd Grenland.
