The former Barcelona man completed the rout nine minutes from time for his 11th goal in all competitions so far this season. The only downside for Inter was the injuries defender Lucio and keeper Julio Cesar sustained in the game. The Champions League holders top Group A with four points from two games, ahead of Tottenham Hotspur on goal difference after the English side crushed Twente 4-1. Fellow heavyweights Manchester United enjoyed an away victory over Valencia while Barcelona were held to a 1-1 draw by Russia's Rubin Kazan.
