Mohamed Zidan's Borussia Dortmund eased into the Europa League group phase after securing a 1-0 second-leg victory over Azerbaijani side Qarabagh on Thursday. Paraguayan striker Lucas Barrios scored the winner in the final minute to complete a 5-0 aggregate victory over Qarabagh. Egyptian forward Zidan missed the game as he is still nursing a serious knee injury he sustained last April. The former Mainz, Werder Bremen and Hamburg man is expected to return to action in October. Dortmund slumped to a 2-0 defeat at home to Bayer Leverkusen in their Bundesliga opener earlier this week.
