Arsene Wenger admitted that Arsenal have all but missed out on winning the English Premier League, following Wednesday's defeat at Tottenham. The Gunners were beaten 2-1 by the Champions League hopefuls to remain six points adrift of leaders Chelsea, four weeks before the end. "We must forget the title race and try to finish as high as we can. It's unlikely but you never know," Wenger said after the game at White Hart Lane. "We lost a game we couldn't afford to lose in the title race. That shows that we're not mature enough because you can't afford to lose this type of game if you want to win the championship. "There's too much to do now. We're very unlikely now to win the championship. We'll continue to fight but even a point wasn't enough from tonight - we needed three points." Arsenal, who were eliminated from the Champions League last week, will visit Wigan at the weekend.
