Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas has been ruled out for the rest of the season after breaking his right leg in Wednesday's Champions League clash against Barcelona. The Spanish international played a key role in helping Arsenal overturn a two-goal deficit to draw 2-2 at home to Barcelona, the club he played for as a teenager. He earned a late penalty and converted it to level the score in the quarter-final first leg but injured his right fibula in a collision with Barcelona skipper and Spain teammate Carles Puyol. "Cesc will miss the remainder of the domestic campaign as he will be out of action for at least six weeks," Arsenal said in a statement on their official website on Thursday. Fabregas would be hoping to recover in time for the World Cup, which will kick off in South Africa on June 11. The in-form midfielder, who has been in sparkling form for Arsenal, scored 19 goals in all competitions this season.
