Zamalek's out-of-favor striker Sayed Mosaad refuted reports linking him with a move to Ismaili in the summer. Mosaad, who joined the White Knights from Canal in the close season, featured for the Cairo side only for several minutes this term. The robust front-man's lack of first team football prompted speculations that he would be seeking to move away from Zamalek in few months. However, Mosaad emphasized that he had no intention of leaving the 11-time Egyptian champions. "I didn't call on Zamalek's board to let me go as was recently reported," the 22-year-old told FilGoal.com. Mosaad is confident that he will establish himself as a prominent figure at Zamalek, saying he doesn't want to secure a regular starting berth overnight. "I'm planning to stay here under the the management of tactician Hossam Hassan. I know that I will become a regular player at some point in the future," he added. "My status on the sidelines doesn't really bother me, it's the coaching staff's job to name the squads. "As a player, I should only train hard and abide by my manager's directives." Mosaad scored once for Zamalek early this season against Arab Contractors, when he was introduced as a second-half substitute. Boss Hassan tends to deploy Ahmed Gafaar as a lone striker, while Sherif Ashraf is his second choice.
