Mohamed Zidan is still suffering from the shock of Egypt's inability to qualify for the World Cup, Algeria defender Antar Yahia said on Sunday. The duo's relationship has been under strain since Egypt met Algeria in two heated clashes in the World Cup qualifiers in November last year. Algeria eventually gained the upper hand to reach the football's most prestigious event before Egypt took revenge by crushing them 4-0 in the Nations Cup semi finals. Zidan and Yahia, who play for German sides Borussia Dortmund and Bochum respectively, came face to face again in a Bundesliga game on Saturday. Dortmund won 4-1, with Zidan scoring for the second successive game to take his tally to six league goals. "The German press exaggerated talks about my duel with Zidan," Yahia told Algerian paper Elheddaf. "I've already put anything about him behind my back but he is still talking about me to make noise. "This is because he is still suffering the shock from Egypt's failure to reach the World Cup."
