Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard could face trouble after sarcastically reacting to a yellow card in Monday's 1-0 defeat at Wigan. The England midfielder flashed a V-sign towards referee Andre Marriner as television replays showed he had also used foul language. Gerrard had a torrid night at the DW Stadium as Hugo Rodallega handed Liverpool their ninth Premier League defeat this season. Reds manager Rafa Benitez, who voiced his dissatisfaction with his team's performance, said after the game he didn't get to see the Gerrard incident.
