Barcelona chairman Joan Laporta has issued a strong hands-off warning amid Inter Milan's reported interest in Lionel Messi. Talismanic forward Messi, who was named 2009 World Player of the Year, is believed to be targeted by a number of European heavyweights but the Catalans remain determined to keep hold of him. According to media reports, Italian champions Inter are among the Argentine international's persistent suitors. But Laporta stressed that Messi wouldn't be leaving Nou Camp any time soon. "I know (Inter president Massimo) Moratti likes Messi because he has a liking for left-footed players, and Messi is the best left-footed player in the world," Laporta told Sky Sport Italia. "Clearly, for us he is not for sale, it's not even possible to set a price."
