Ismaili are looking to bolster their frontline with Azerbaijan striker Branimir Subasic after failing to capture Nigerian Emeka Opara. Ismaili have been in talks with the 27-year-old striker since July, but were not able to complete a deal. "I was impressed with Subasic when I saw his videos. We have contacted him already, but we also insist on watching him in action," Ismaili boss Emad Soliman told FilGoal.com. Ismaili's attempts to sign Etoile Sahel's Opara were dashed last week due to the 25-year-old's refusal to go under test before penning a contract. The Dervishes were prompted to re-open talks with Subasic, who was introduced to the club's officials by former manager Nebojsa Vuckovic. Subasic, who has 26 caps for Azerbaijan, is on loan at China's Changchun Yatai from Red Star Belgrade.
