Lack of firepower concerns Ismaili
Published in FilGoal on 27 - 11 - 2009

Lack of cutting edge poses a serious problem for Ismaili that should be dealt with, coach Emad Soliman said on Friday.
The Dervishes have scored 13 goals in nine league games but their strikers failed to deliver.
Most of the team's goals came from midfielders and defenders to cast doubts over their ability to mount a serious challenge for the league title.
"We will do our best to cure this problem," Ismaili coach Emad Soliman, who took over from Serbian Nebojsa Vuckovic early in the season, told the club's official website.
"Our strikers waste too many goalscoring opportunities. This was very clear during our (Tuesday's 2-1) victory over Military Production.
"We have to find a solution for that. The players will not have any days off during Al-Adha feast because we have a lot of work to do."
Ismaili, who finished runners-up to league champions and fierce rivals Ahli last season, failed in their attempts to sign Nigerian striker Emeka Opara.
They then renewed their interest in Azerbaijan frontman Branimir Subasic as they seek to reinforce their attack.
Following the departure of Iraqi striker Mostafa exit, whose exit prompted media to heavily criticize Ismaili, the club's options upfront have become very limited.
Long-term absentee Youssef Gamal, Tunisian Mohamed Selliti and Mohamed Mohsen Abou-Greisha are the only recognized strikers at Soliman's disposal.
