Arsenal overwhelmed Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-1 in the Premier League on Saturday, to secure provisional second place in the competition's table. A couple of own goals from Ronald Zubar Jody Craddock on 28 and 35 minutes respectively gave the Gunners a two-goal cushion. Cesc Fabregas scored the third on the stroke of half time to leave the home side with a mountain to climb. Andrei Arshavin further ensured Arsenal's superiority with a fourth goal two minutes past the hour mark. Craddock netted a consolation goal for Wolverhampton one minute from time. The London side now have 25 points, several goals ahead of third-placed Manchester United. Defending champions United will face leaders Chelsea, who have 27 points, on Sunday.
