Real Madrid guardian Iker Casillas believes his Spain mates Xavi and Andres Iniesta are frontrunners of the Ballon d'Or award. Even though he is aware that another Barcelona star Lionel Messi is strongly tipped to win the award, Casillas gives his vote to the Spanish midfield duo. "If I could vote, I would give the trophy to Xavi or Iniesta because they are worthy of this award and they are my friends," the world-class keeper told France Football. "Andreas and Xavi have won the European Championship, while Messi still lacks a title win for Argentina."
