Brazil have booked their place in the 2010 World Cup in style after impressively beating South American rivals Argentina 3-1 in Rosario. Defender Luisao broke the deadlock before Sevilla goal machine Luis Fabiano scored his fourth brace of the qualifiers to take his tally to nine goals and steer Brazil to South Africa. Napoli winger Jesus Datolo scored Argentina's only goal in the second half. Brazil lead the 10-team league with 30 points, ten ahead of fifth-placed Colombia, with three games to go. The first four teams automatically qualify for South Africa, while the fifth team will have to settle for a playoff with a CONCACAF side.
