AC Milan are hoping to capture Monaco's Italian goalkeeper Flavio Roma in place of the out-of-favor Zeljko Kalac. Kalac's antics in pre-season have seemingly prompted new coach Leonardo to look for a new goalkeeper instead of the Australian. Moreover, the Serie A titans are aiming to provide cover for injury-prone trio Dida, Christian Abbiati and Marco Storari. "We are about to rescind Kalac's contract. If all goes well we will sign Flavio Roma," Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani told Gazzetta dello Sport. Roma, 35, is reportedly interested in joining the Rossoneri forces after eight seasons in France with Monaco.
