Ahli transfer guru Adli Al-Qaeyi refuted media claims that Zamalek striker Gamal Hamza will join the Red Devils, expressing his dismay with the false allegations. "I am astonished with these allegations. Ahli have not spoken to Hamza in a way or another," Al-Qaeyi told Filgoal.com. "I received a load of phone calls asking me about it. For an instance, I thought of announcing that Hamza joined Ahli, so that I can sleep!" Hamza met with Ahli board member Khaled Al-Darandali last week, which probably triggered the speculation. But the latter confirmed that the meeting had nothing to do with a future transfer. Earlier this year, the unsettled Zamalek forward stalled over a new deal with the misfiring Cairo club as he pronounced his willingness to play abroad.
