Ahli players celebrated Mohamed Abou-Treika's win of the Inter-CAF player of the year award during the team's Thursday training. Upon his return from the annual CAF awards ceremony in Nigeria, Abou-Treika's teammates received him with a warm welcoming. The 30-year-old was also chosen as the continent's second Glo-CAF player after Arsenal's Togolese striker Emmanuel Adebayor. Ahli's training also witnessed the return of the club's national players, who took part in Egypt's 2-2 friendly draw against Ghana on Wednesday. In the meantime, Ahli assistant coach Hossam Al-Badri confirmed that the team's upcoming league clash against Masri will be held at Cairo International stadium. "The Masri game will be played at Cairo stadium. We will be holding our home games at the Military Academy stadium starting next March," Al-Badri told the club's official website. Cairo stadium is set to be closed in March for refurbishments, which will be carried out in preparations for hosting the FIFA Youth World Cup in September 2010.
