Donovan completes Bayern loan move

Bayern Munich have snapped up American forward Landon Donovan on a three-month loan deal from LA Galaxy, both clubs confirmed the transfer.
The 26-year-old opted to join the Bundesliga champions on a short-term move, rejecting long-term contracts elsewhere.
"I've appeared for a number of teams already. I can play football, and I know what has to be done out on the pitch," he told Bayern's official site.
"I'm ready for the challenge, and when my chance comes, I'll take it."
Donovan, who started his professional career with Bayer Leverkusen, netted 20 goals in 25 games for Galaxy last season.
The USA international follows in the footsteps of teammate David Beckham, who sealed a short-term move to AC Milan last month.
