Zamalek skipper Ayman Abdul-Aziz has made a request to seal a move in the January transfer window, according to a source close to the player. The former Trabzonspor player, who joined the White Knights last summer, wants to get back to the Turkish Super Lig after falling out with interim boss Ahmed Refaat. "Abdul-Aziz's agent khaled Zekri has traveled to Turkey in order to hold talks over a potential deal," the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told FilGoal.com. The unsettled midfielder is convinced that there is no point of spending more time at the Cairo-based club, therefore would rather leave as fast as possible. Some Turkish newspaper mentioned last week that the Zamalek homegrown player is close to returning to the Super Lig but agent Zekri ruled out these reports. Undesirable During the past few months, Abdul-Aziz was featuring regularly for the Cairo giants, and then an argument with caretaker coach Refaat turned him into an undesirable figure. The veteran footballer was sanctioned when he refused to sit on bench during an Egyptian League match against Harras Hodoud. He was fined and stripped off the skipper's armband before regaining it later on. Although he reconciled with Refaat, Abdul-Aziz decided to get back to Turkey, where he spent many years of his career.
