Masri president Ali Faragallah suspended all the club's first team players after they refused to take part in Tuesday's training until Hossam Hassan is restored as club coach. Hassan and his brother Ibrahim (football director) were relieved from their respective posts after the twins' improper behaviour towards officials during Masri's loss to JSM Bejaia of Algeria in the North African Cup Winners Cup. The incident resulted in the twins' suspension for ten games by the Egyptian Football Association (EFA). Upon his decision, Faragallah ordered the promotion of the club's youth team, who will play against Harras Hodoud in the Egyptian Cup. Faragallah told FilGoal.com that all first team players will have their salaries suspended till further notice. Masri are currently seventh in the Egyptian Premier League table with 20 points from 15 games.
