Sion chairman-coach Christian Constantin warned Essam Al-Hadari that he could be losing his place in the team if he does not improve. Hadari did not feature in the recent 2-1 defeat to Bellinzona, which marked the first game for Constantin as the team's head coach. Al-Hadari claimed that he skipped the game upon his own request. However, Constantin declared that the Egyptian number one's place is not guaranteed. "Everyone is treated the same. If Essam does not understand that he must improve, it will be difficult for him to regain his place," the Sion supremo told Le Matin. Sion have the worst goals-against record in the Swiss league so far this season, having conceded 28 goals in 14 games, with Hadari receiving most of the beating. The 35-year-old is admittedly set to leave Stade Tourbillon in the winter break as he ponders a move to the French Ligue1.
