Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Hossam Ghaly said that he is contemplating a return to former club Ahli in case he received no offers from European clubs. Ghaly reasserted the improbability of playing for Spurs again after his infamous shirt tantrum with former coach Martin Jol in May 2007. "I am still anticipating offers from Europe, but if nothing came this summer then a return to Ahli on loan could be fitting," he told FilGoal.com. "It would be meaningless to stay with Tottenham this season because the board made it clear that my chances of playing are limited after last year's problem." The 27-year-old, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Derby County, is currently nursing a knee injury he sustained in Egypt's 2-0 win over Malawi last month. Ghaly conceded that his injury hindered his hopes of finding a new club in the ongoing summer transfer window. "I am really disappointed with the timing of the injury, but I hope to be fit soon," he added.
