Hossam Ghaly is set to make Tottenham Hotspur's squad for Tuesday's Carling Cup semi-final first leg against Burnley. Tottenham's official site stated that coach Harry Redknapp will include the 27-year-old in the squad, amid injuries of midfield duo Jermain Jenas and Tom Huddlestone. Ghaly has been subjected to joint booing by Spurs supporters prior to his introduction in last weekend's FA Cup win over Wigan, which forced Redknapp to call him back to the bench. The Tottenham contingent is yet to forgive the Egyptian for his infamous shirt-throwing tantrum under manager Martin Jol in May 2007. However, manager Redknapp backed Ghaly, who rarely made the squad during the past two years, after the angry fans' emphatic action at White Hart Lane. Redknapp implied that he is aiming to help the former Ahli schemer rediscover his place with the London club as he urged fans to forgive him.
