Hossam Ghaly made Tottenham Hotspur's squad for the first time since May 2007 as his side advanced to the FA Cup fourth round after a 3-1 home victory over Wigan Athletic. A Roman Pavlyuchenko brace helped Spurs overcome Wigan, who were missing Egypt striker Amr Zaki due to injury. The Russian striker opened the scoring seven minutes after the break when he converted a penalty after Wigan keeper Richard Kingson fouled Fraizer Campbell Luka Modric doubled Tottenham's advantage in the 76th minute after he headed home on a rebound. Henri Camara, who was playing as a lone forward due to the absence of Zaki and Emile Heskey, pulled one back two minutes from time. However, Pavlyuchenko put the result beyond doubt with a stoppage-time strike to score his second of the night. Egyptian midfielder Ghaly was among Tottenham's substitutes for the first time since his infamous shirt tantrum after being substituted in a league game against Blackburn Rovers. Coach Harry Redknapp had no choice but to recall him as he was missing several key players in midfield due to injury. Ghaly warmed up seven minutes from time and seemed ready to step onto the pitch. The former Ahli man was apparently jeered by his own fans and he subsequently returned to the bench. Watch Ghaly warming up before returning to bench
