Ahli denied that left-back Ahmed Attwa left the club on a free transfer to Zamalek. The Whites announced earlier that the 21-year-old penned a deal with them and is expected to join the pre-season training immediately. However, Ahli U-21 manager Fathi Mabrouk insisted that the player is still bound to the club. "Attwa is still with us, he is under contract as an amateur, and will be registered for next season," Mabrouk told FilGoal.com. The 21-year old full back has only joined Ahli last January, but couldn't convince coach Manuel Jose to keep him on board. The Reds bought left-sided duo Sayed Moawad and Abdul-Hamid Ahmed as Attwa was relegated to the youth team. On the other hand, Zamalek are seeking reinforcement on the left flank after the departure of Tarek Al-Sayed and Khaled Saad.
