Spain's all-time leading goalscorer Raul Gonzalez was not included in the final squad list for next month's Euro 2008 finals, whereas uncapped Santi Cazorla was surprisingly selected. Raul's fine season with Primera Liga champions Real Madrid was not enough to convince manager Luis Aragones include him in his 23-man list. Barcelona starlet Bojan Krkic and Espanyol forward Raul Tamudo also failed to make the final squad, but Liga top scorer Daniel Guiza was given the nod.
