Gaafar in hot water with Zamalek

Mostafa Gaafar will be questioned by Zamalek after failing to show up for the team's training sessions over the past few days, assistant coach Mohamed Helmi said.
"Gaafar did not take part in Zamalek's training for six consecutive days," Helmi said.
"He failed to show up when the regulars were in Angola to face Interclube in the Champions League," he told the club's official website
Gaafar has repeatedly voiced his frustration at his lack of first-team football.
The 27-year-old striker has moved down the pecking order behind Amr Zaki, Abdul-Halim Ali, Gamal Hamza and Sherif Ashraf.
"Gaafar will be also questioned over the comments attributed to him against Zamalek's technical staff," Helmi added.
Consequently, the former Baladeya frontman has been excluded from Zamalek's 18-man squad for the Egyptian League game against Tersana on Thursday.
Goalkeeper Mohamed Abdul-Monsef and left-back Tarek Al-Sayed are also out through suspension.
Combative defender Beshir Al-Tabie will miss the match due to a back injury.
The Cairo giants will be looking for a win to continue their pursuit of the runners-up spot, which brings with it CAF Champions League qualification.
