Arsenal interested in Kompany- report

Arsenal are chasing the signature of 22-year-old Hamburg SV defender Vincent Kompany, according to German daily Bild.
Bild claims that Arsene Wenger is weighing a ₤15M bid for the Belgian center-half, who was on the Frenchman's shortlist two years ago.
Arsenal's offer is likely to match Hamburg's asking price for the former Anderlecht defender.
Chelsea were also interested in Kompany's services in recent years, but the solid defender preferred the Bundesliga instead.
