Frank Lampard is set to return for Chelsea in Tuesday's Champions League clash with Liverpool, after he sat out last week taking care of his ill mother. Lampard's mother Pat is struggling with pneumonia, but the England midfielder has made himself available as her condition seems to be better. "Frank Lampard has made himself available for tomorrow night's Champions League match at Liverpool after spending the last seven days at the bedside of his sick mother," said a statement from the player's agent Steve Kutner. "Although still very ill, her condition has now stabilized. Hopefully there is light at the end of a very dark tunnel. "Frank would like to acknowledge the consideration shown to him by Chelsea FC and the media during this time of immense strain for himself and his family." Lampard missed Chelsea latest two Premiership games against Wigan and Everton, but he could get a starting role in Michael Ballack failed to make the Liverpool game.
