Hadari set for Sion debut

Egypt goalkeeper Essam Al-Hadari said that he will play his first game for Sion against Neuchatel Xamax in the Swiss League on Sunday.
"Sion manager promised me that I'll be in the starting line-up against Neuchatel. I will wear the number 35 jersey," Al-Hadari told FilGoal.com on Saturday.
The 35-year-old goalie, who has departed without the consent of Egyptian champions Ahli, has been recently granted permission by FIFA to play for Sion.
Ahli are likely to lodge an appeal in order to claim a hefty compensation as Al-Hadari unilaterally breached his contract with the Red Devils.
Al-Hadari, whose 12-year stint with Ahli was very successful, refused to comment on his dispute with the Cairo giants.
"I don't want to talk about my problem with Ahli. I don't want to give anyone a chance to misinterpret my words."
"I never talked about the issue since FIFA's decision was announced. I just want to talk about my future with Sion," he concluded.
