Spanish Champions Real Madrid are ready to table a summer bid for Palermo's striker Amauri, Italian reports claimed on Tuesday. The 27-year old Brazilian forward is having an impressive season in the Serie A scoring 12 goals in 30 appearances. Juventus, AC Milan and Barcelona put him on top of their shoplist but Calcio Italia revealed that the Merengues are ready to cash 16m euros to clinch the deal. The report said that Juventus sporting director Alessio Secco has been in talks with Rosanero President Maurizio Zamparini but the Real deal may switch Amauri's destination. Amauri hit a brace against Juventus last Sunday leading Palermo to a crucial 3-2 victory. Italy boss Roberto Donadoni is considering calling him up to the Azzurri squad as he has an Italian passport.
