Milan deny Chelsea offer for Pato

AC Milan denied on Saturday that Chelsea made an offer to sign Brazilian starlet Alexandre Pato.
Reports claimed that Chelsea were ready to table a €52-million bid to acquire the services of Pato this summer.
"With regards to the rumours circulated this morning by the English press, AC Milan clarify and reaffirm that there are no negotiations ongoing with Chelsea regarding Alexandre Pato," the Italian side said in a statement.
"The player is absolutely non transferable," added the statement that was published on the club's official website.
Pato, who scored 15 goals in 36 appearances last season, is an integral member of Milan's squad.
He could even play a bigger role with the Rossoneri next season following the departure of his compatriot Kaka, who joined Spanish giants Real Madrid.
