Mohamed Zidan's Hamburg have bowed out of the German Cup after losing 2-1 to Wolfsburg in the quarter-finals on Wednesday. Wolfsburg's Brazilian striker Grafite gave Wolfsburg the lead in the 17th minute from a spot-kick that he earned himself. In the 70th minute, Zidan set up Hamburg captain Rafael van der Vaart, who dinked a long-range shot home for the equalizer. But another Brazilian, Marcelinho, notched the winner for Wolfsburg 19 minutes into the extra time with an ice-cool finish.
