French side Metz has decided to take legal action against their fans who made some racist chants and the Nazi salute during last week-end clash against Lyon. Metz director of security Jacky Ancel said that the club and security forces will try to identify them and take legal action. Metz lost 2-0 to Lyon and the fans criticized them in these racist ways. According to some witnesses the player threw their jerseys on the crowd and the situation blew up. It's not the first incident from Metz supporters as a couple of weeks ago Moroccan defender Abdel Salam Ouaddou filed an official complaint for being racially abused in Metz. The same week-end, Bastia fans displayed a banner with racist comments against Burkina Faso player Boubacar Kebe. The French Federation are investigating in the case and could dock points from Bastia. It has also been decided that players and officials will wear T-shirts bearing the message: "Racism ... Never again!".
