Olympique Lyon have been crowned French Ligue1 champions for a seventh straight season, after winning 3-1 at Auxerre. Goals from Karim Benzema, Fred and Kim Kallstrom sealed the win for Paul Le Guen's team, while Frederic Thomas grabbed a late consolation for Auxerre. The win put Lyon on top with 79 points, four ahead of Bordeaux, who drew 2-2 at Lens. The French champions are on course of a domestic double as they face Paris Saint-Germain in the French Cup final next weekend. "It's a nice title. We made the difference in our two matches against Bordeaux, which we won," said captain Juninho Pernambucano. Elsewhere, Marseille secured third after a thrilling 4-3 win over Strasbourg, who were relegated with Metz and Lens.
