David Suazo scored twice to lead Inter Milan to a 2-0 home victory over Livorno as the Nerazzurri stretched their lead on top of the Serie A to 11 points. Inter coach Roberto Mancini rested striking duo Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Julio Cruz in order to have them fresh for Liverpool clash in the Champions League on Tuesday. However, their absence was not felt as Suazo's brace was enough to sink Livorno, who held AC Milan to a 1-1 draw on Wednesday. He opened the scoring in the 14th minute when he headed home Cristian Chivu's free-kick. The former Cagliari man netted the second two minutes later after capitalizing on some sloppy defending. The defending champions are on top of the league table with 59 points, 11 ahead of second-placed AS Roma.
