Egyptian midfielder Hossam Ghaly is focusing on his new club career and is not concerned with Derby County's Premiership position. "You don't look at the position of the team, you just focus on doing well, to help the team. It is a relief to be playing first-team football again," the 25-year old player told Skysports.com. Ghaly was loaned out to Derby in January to save the team who faces a real danger in the Premier League. The basement-side has only collected 7 points in 22 matches. The international midfielder also talked about his dissapointing spell at Tottenham. "I was told the problem I made at Tottenham was to throw the shirt down. I've been told my future at Tottenham is over now. I went back to Cairo to play games for the national team and to keep fit." Ghaly threw his shirt in the face of his coach Martin Jol after being substituted against Blackburn last season. "Everybody can make mistakes - and learn from them. The punishment from Tottenham was very harsh." "I'm a quiet person. It's not my character to be aggressive or difficult. I hope on the field I can be aggressive and work hard and make the manager satisfied he has made a good decision," concluded Ghaly.
