Ahmed Fathi's bullet wasn't enough as Kazma were held to a 1-1 home draw by Tadamon in the Kuwaiti League on Thursday. The Egyptian midfielder, who is on loan from Cairo giants Ahli, broke the deadlock in the 32nd minute with a superb shot from outside the area. Nasser Al-Omran secured a share of spoils after heading home with four minutes remaining. Despite the draw, Kazma are still in charge of the league table with 22 points. However, Salmiya and Qadsia could leapfrog them if they beat Sahel and Arabi respectively. After an unsuccessful stint with Sheffield United, Fathi joined Ahli on a four-year deal. The Red Devils couldn't register him because they signed the Egyptian international after the closure of the summer transfer window. Ahli opted to loan him out in order for him to maintain his match fitness. He is set to return to the Egyptian champions in January.
