Egyptian league surprise package Petrojet recorded a thumping 8-0 victory over Suez Cement in the tenth matchday of the competition on Tuesday. The huge scoreline is the third biggest one in the Egyptian League history. Petrojet climbed to top of the table, leveling at 22 points with Al-Gaish, who have a game in hand. League top scorer Alaa Ibrahim hit a hat-trick on 13, 29 and 83 minutes to take his tally to ten goals in eight game, four goals ahead of his closest rival Hani Al-Egeizy. Hassan Gomaa (22), Hussein Ali(42), Khaled Bibo (65), Amr Hassan (77) and Mohamed Samara (80) were also on the score sheet to complete the thrashing score line. Cement coach Abdul-Aziz Abdul-Shafi, who is likely to resign after the defeat, was sent off for protesting early into the second half.
