Ahmed Hossam 'Mido' left the pitch with injury as Middlesbrough lost 2-0 to Everton in the Premiership on Sunday. Mido was substituted by Tom Craddock two minutes after the hour mark as he looked not totally cured from his hamstring injury. Everton leading scorer Joleon Lescott broke the deadlock as early as the seventh minute when he connected with Mikel Arteta's cross to send the ball home. Steven Pienaar sealed the victory in the 58th minute after collecting another silky pass from the classy Arteta. Middlesbrough now have eight points in 14th spot while Everton climbed to fifth place with 13. Egypt midfielder Mohamed Shawky who joined Boro recently was left out of the squad.
