Injury-plagued Ahmed Hossam ‘Mido faces two weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring problem, his brother said on Sunday. Although the Egypt striker put in some fine displays, the niggling problem ruled him out for long spells this season. “Mido tore a hamstring muscle during Middlesbrough's training. He will not be able to play against Aston Villa on Sunday,” Tamer Wasfi told FilGoal.com. “He will have a week of rest before entering rehabilitation the following week.” The 25-year-old will miss Boro's Premier League games against Aston Villa and Everton. He will not be also taking part in Egypt's friendly against Benin on November 19th. Mido is Middlesbrough's top scorer with four goals, all of which have come in substitute appearances.
