Saudi Arabia's Hilal have reached the semi-final of the 2007 Gulf Club Championship after beating Kuwait 2-0 on Sunday. Saad Al-Thiab and Nawaf Al-Temiat were on target for the Saudi club, who finished runners up to Ittihad Jeddah in the Saudi league last season. Hilal have nine points from three games as they comfortably take the summit of Group B ahead of Kuwait, Muscat and Umm Salal. Hilal will now face UAE's Al-Jazira in the semi-finals of the competition, while Ittifaq will play Oman's Al-Nassr on the other side.
